Headquartered in Guildford, Surrey, Grenke Leasing is a specialist Sales Aid Leasing company. We partner with many of the worlds and the UK’s leading equipment manufacturers and resellers within Print, IT, Telecoms and numerous other asset groups. Grenke began trading in the UK in 2002 and since then has expanded significantly opening offices in many of the UK’s major towns and cities.
We are now looking for a Senior Legal Specialist based at our Head Office in Guildford. Our Legal Specialists support the recovery of debts and assets by legally representing Grenke, liaising with external Solicitors and Debt Collection Agencies.

We are now looking for a Senior Legal Specialist based at our Head Office in Guildford. Our Legal Specialists support the recovery of debts and assets by legally representing Grenke, liaising with external Solicitors and Debt Collection Agencies.
Key Tasks:
• Gather case evidence and documentation by reviewing customer contracts and activity to date, to establish a timeline of events, and generate legal files
• Understand contractual and legal FCA regulations and apply this in your day to day work.
• Contact customers to inform them of their overdue payments and organise payment of outstanding monies
• Appoint our debt collection agency partner to recover assets to reduce exposure
• Evaluate the viability of legal success by understanding legal contract arguments, contract enforcement options, analysing costs and then engaging with our solicitors regarding the best course of action
• Make decisions on appropriate Legal enforcement considering Grenke’s commercial and reputational damage.
• Represent Grenke legally in court/mediation; presenting evidence, and acting as a witness for the Company
• Active on-going management of legal cases to ensure continued progress
• Conduct annual governance meetings with our solicitors
• Respond professionally and promptly to queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate escalations appropriately to manager
• Prepare and deliver reports on the legal team's case load, including analysis of case progress, workload distribution, and key legal outcomes.
Experience and Skills
• At least 3 years work experience in either commercial or consumer Legal contract enforcement including regulated contracts.
• Degree in a related field for example Law, Economics, Business etc
• Able to work independently; managing competing priorities both internally and externally
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner
• Strong administration skills with proven organisational and time management to achieve deadlines
• Analytical problem solver

• Friendly, professional approach and manner
• Ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team
• Able to multi-task
• Self-motivated and keen to learn
