Present in Canada since 2013, our expansion is constant. We are looking for new talents for our three branches to continue our development in Canada. Our headquarter in Montreal is seeking to hire a strategic, solution-oriented HR advisor and partner for the local management in grenke’s daughter companies.
Your Mission
Your mission is to develop and manage a professional and qualified HR organization to provide effective HR consultancy for the managers and to organize, manage and monitor all processes along the employee lifecycle in your area of responsibility. Your workday is exciting and full of high-impact decisions related to: talent acquisition, talent development, administration and monitoring of employee files/ HR data, compensation & benefit, apprenticeship, employer branding and organizational development. You represent an important link between the countries under your responsibility and the parent company: from one side, by ensuring that group policy and processes are implemented and tailored to the local culture and rules; on the other side, by addressing specific needs and trends, according to the market practice. You have a very good knowledge of all functional fields related to HR and you are an expert on local labor law. Furthermore, you care for being constantly updated on trends and innovative solutions related to HR topics. You have a high sense of responsibility and integrity and you are able to maintain confidentiality when needed. // Providing HR consultancy for the local management to help them reach their goals by developing professional HR solutions and measures according to the business needs
// Being responsible for implementing HR measures within the frame of the local budget and ensuring that all policies and measures are in line with current laws and regulations as well as the company's values and the corporate HR strategy
// Organizing, managing and monitoring all HR processes along the employee lifecycle and ensuring that they are properly and effectively managed, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefit, talent development, apprenticeship and the administration of employee files & HR database
// Providing professional support for our managers and employees on HR related topics, including legal issues and conflict management
// Partnering with HR data analyst to deliver HR data and to facilitate business decisions
// Developing and improving the local HR operational practices and services by implementing and developing directives, standards and quality targets for a modern, professional HR management
// Managing cross-divisional HR projects, taking over project-related tasks, delivering trainings and working together with HR colleagues in other grenke countries
// Promoting Company values, leading by example and ensuring the team's adherence to the values
// Functional and disciplinary leadership of the team including enablement, coaching and development of the individuals, Absence management, Health care, Conflict management as well as steering process improvements in the team
// Supervising and ensuring the correct application in the Team of Group Compliance rules, Health & Safety, Data Protection and Data Handling, AML, ESG and Quality Management Group standards.
Your foundation
// A Degree in Business Administration/ Law/ Work Psychology/ Human Resources or a related field of study
// Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an international environment
// Bilingual in French & English
What we offer
// 1st year is a part time job (32h): 4 days a week – Monday to Thursday
// 2nd year: 40h / week – 5 days a week
// Salary basis: 60,000 $ / year (32h)
// Bonus: yes – based on quarterly performance
